Inside the Moët & Chandon experience at the 2025 National Bank Open

August 9, 2025

Soft summer rays glistened in the sky, as we stepped through the entrance of the National Bank Open 2025 in Toronto. The last time we attended the event was back in 2022, but we immediately felt that familiar hum of excitement as we arrived.

This year felt different: more glamorous, more indulgent. The reason? For the first time in the tournament’s history, Moët & Chandon was appointed as the official champagne sponsor of the event.

Invited by the brand to join their special celebration, our first stop was the Moët & Chandon Champagne Terrace. It was impossible to miss: a chic, light-filled space draped in gold accents, its design as refined as the cuvées being poured. As we entered the space, we were greeted with a perfectly chilled flute of Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial. Pink bubbles were paired with fresh oysters that perfectly complemented the champagne’s crisp notes. From the lounge, we could feel the energy of the crowd, while simultaneously feeling cocooned in an atmosphere of understated luxury.

Later that evening, we headed to the premium hospitality VIP suite, a serene oasis above the courts, with a spectacular view of the games. Here, the experience was elevated to new heights – Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial and Rosé Impérial in slender flutes, gourmet bites that felt as much art as cuisine, and plush red seating that offered an uninterrupted view of the thrilling matches below.

As the sun dipped below the horizon and the final match of the day came to a close, we took one last sip of champagne. The crisp effervescence lingered, much like the day itself: a reminder that memorable sporting moments are best savoured slowly, glass in hand.
