Interior Design Show (IDS), a must-see event, has returned to Toronto’s Metro Convention Center. This year’s show houses over 220 exhibitors, showcasing the latest trends and what lies ahead in the world of interior design.
Last night, to kick off the event, IDS hosted a big industry party, full of music, drinks, shows and activations from exhibitors and vendors. And of course, FAJO was there!
After 25 years, the Interior Design Show has become one of the most successful recurring design events in Canadian history and over the years has inspired over 660,000 visitors. Attendance has almost doubled since the show’s inception, and international designers and architects travel from around the world to stand on the IDS main stage. The Interior Design Show has established itself as the breeding ground for design creativity, innovation and inspiration, bringing together hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of visitors each year.
While browsing the event, guests will discover plenty of natural materials and colours, variety of woods (from kitchen panels to a wooden gym), a jungle theme, wallpaper, lots of neon lights, and sleek round shapes for any interior purpose.
This year, many Canadian interior design celebrities are participating in the show, including Paolo Ferrari (a designer behind Daphne restaurant in Toronto), Heather Dubbeldam, Maria Porro, Aly Velji, Robert Kastelic and Brian Gluckstein, among others. They will also be keynote speakers, delivering inspiring discussions and presentations.
While this Thursday and Friday (Jan. 23 and 24) the Show is only open to industry professionals, with a full seminar program and networking opportunities, this weekend (Jan. 25 and 26) will be open to design-loving public, where they can see the best in global and Canadian design.
Don’t miss the 26th edition of the Interior Design Show!
