Footprint of Life Gala: stars gather in Bridgehampton for a green cause

August 17, 2024

The second annual Footprint of Life Gala, hosted by Amy and Gary Green, transformed their Bridgehampton home into a haven of environmental glamour, where high-profile guests mingled to raise funds to help our planet.

The Green’s family-run organization, The Green Vision Foundation, partnered with Tusk and Planetary Guardians to bring the vision to life, celebrating the beauty of nature with a theme of “50 Shades of Blue” capturing the imagination of over 300 attendees.

“We are the ones who have to make a difference. We have to do something, and we have to do something now, because we are seriously in a very critical crisis,” Amy Green explains. “When I started the Footprint of Life Gala it was my wish and my dream to bring people together and collaborate. Bring foundations together, because we all do amazing things. Together, we can create magic and make real change… When I had my baby girls, Giada and Gemma, who are everything in the world to me, I knew as a mother, as a woman, [I had] to start now.  To take care of our planet, it’s up to us.”

The evening was a fusion of elegance and entertainment, headlined by a dynamic performance from Grammy-winner Ludacris and the sophisticated sounds of Kate Simko and the London Electronic Orchestra.

This exclusive event attracted the who’s who of prominent figures, including TV host Valerie Greenberg, Emmy-winning producer Daniel LaGrua and philanthropist Jean Shafiroff. Also in attendance were Bravo TV’s Real Housewives of New York star Erin Dana Lichy, health and wellness guru Cristina Cuomo, singer-songwriter Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin, star of My Unorthodox Life Julia Haart and runway model Yana Kuchma. Luxury concierge expert Rose Thorn, TethysArt founder Elena Ulansky, and actor Emily Elizabeth Creighton joined the cause, along with entrepreneur Dr. Christina Rahm. Even baseball legend Darryl Strawberry made an appearance via FaceTime.

The Footprint of Life Gala, fondly dubbed her own personal “Camelot for the Planet” by Green, brought together a community of like-minded individuals dedicated to fostering a sustainable future. With so many incredible organizations and generous donors, the gala successfully raised both awareness and funds for conservation and education efforts worldwide.
