Earlier this fall, several fashion icons descended to Toronto for an exclusive event. Iconic Canadian footwear designer, John Fluevog, invited many of his long-time collaborators (and friends) to join him at Flummunity. This annual event brings together the world’s most avid Fluevog fans who gather in one city for a weekend of exclusive collection drops and influential guest speakers. As part of the event, Fluevog was joined by renowned fashion designer Zandra Rhodes and the funk legend George Clinton.

With many decades of years of collective experience in fashion, music and design, and various collaborations between them, this unprecedented powerhouse meeting brought together a wealth of industry knowledge and insight into the future of fashion in addition to new pieces from each designer. Both Rhodes and Clinton collaborated with Fluevog to create their own pairs of unique designs.

Prior to attending Flummunity, the three icons spoke exclusively to FAJO‘s Editor-in-Chief Hannah Yakobi about their spectacular careers, lives and personal style.
