Last year may have premiered many excellent films at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), but the Red Carpets were smaller and quieter than usual due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. That’s why Torontonians (and the world) were absolutely thrilled to have the 2024 Red Carpets filled, once again, with some of the world’s most high-profile celebrities and talent.
In total, there were 278 films on the slate this year and many World and North American Premieres took place during the Festival. The Red Carpet was shining with gorgeous gowns, tuxedos, suits, leather ensembles, black-tie numbers and business casual chic.
Some of the most memorable looks this year were worn by Jennifer Lopez, Jude Law, Cate Blanchett, Pamela Anderson and Elton John.
