Georgia May Jagger has teamed up with Mulberry to create the ultimate London Cool Biker Jacket.

“It’s so important to have a leather jacket that fits well and is comfortable,” she said. “I personally wanted a longer-line style that came to the hips, as it flatters the figure, and the arms need to be cut just at the right width, so you can layer a jumper underneath and still move your arms!”

When creating the new designs, Jagger was inspired by her personal collection of vintage jackets, which she has collected over the years from vintage stores and cult labels.

Previous Mulberry leather jackets have been worn by Kate Moss, Florence Welch, Julianne Moore and Scarlett Johansson among others.

The new piece that stemmed from the collaboration is crafted from soft black lambskin leather with two zip pockets and typical vintage biker styling.  Jagger also added a personal design twist: a flash of jewel bright lining in a choice of emerald green, sapphire blue or deep pink ruby magenta. She also included a small leather pouch on a biker chain that can wrap around the wrist or sit across the body on the go, with the jacket owner’s essentials zipped safely inside.

The global launch of the design took place on Sept.1, and the collection is now available on Mulberry.com and in stores globally.
