After last night’s Miss Universe competition, a competitor from the Philippines is this year’s winner for the contested Miss Universe title, but for a moment, it looked like Colombia may have won the title, again. Colombia’s Ariadna Arevalo was mistakenly given the crown, before host Steve Harvey apologized and awarded it to the actual winner, Pia Wurtzbach.

This is the third time a female from the Philippines has received the crown. Women from 80 countries were represented in this year’s competition.
