I am always impressed by how dedicated FAJO‘s team is and the last four weeks have been undoubtedly the strongest proof of their incredible commitment to the magazine.
Our Deputy Editor Katherine Ellis and Features Editor Julia Eskins worked tirelessly to help create FAJO‘s first monthly issue that is filled with in-depth articles, research pieces and news stories. Their hard work in researching, scheduling, editing, proofreading and finalizing content has been a shining example of what real journalism should be.
Working for a fashion magazine means long hours at the office and a lot of weekend work, but it also has some fabulous perks that we all greatly enjoy. One of those perks is the inspiring conversations our team has on a day-to-day basis with the top designers in Canada and around the world. Some of these conversations are featured in this issue, with a spotlight on Lucian Matis in Toronto, Kelly Dooley and Romona Keveza in New York, and emerging talents Emily Woundeberg and Breeyn McCarney. These individuals all have very varied fashion aesthetics that are equally unique.
Enjoy this issue,
