Couture designer Farhad Re is using pieces from his spring/summer 2021 collection as a canvas and mirror of his moods.
Recoloured in a traditional way in his Parisian atelier, the 6 chosen dresses allow us to discover new architectural facets thanks to the painting techniques he used. Shadows and volumes are reflected differently, in a controlled harmony.
The colour used is 100% vegetable and organic. Re calls it: “A lyrical soaring, full of hope, with a touch of eco-responsibility.”
During lockdown, Re’s muse Galatea escapes from her monochrome universe. She discovers a multi-coloured and hopeful world: the red of love, the blue of sky, the green of hope, and the yellow of light and sun. She feels the world is coming back to life!
