I’ve had an interest in fashion since my early high school years. I originally wanted to design clothes or work in styling, but I realized once I went to university that my talent lies in writing. I love being able to write about people, clothing or the fashion industry, and make the story entertaining for my readers – be it through print or online articles.
I’m studying journalism, and have so far covered the Ottawa Fashion Week and guest blogged with Annabelle Cosmetics as a style blogger. My work with Annabelle Cosmetics is a result of winning their Canada-wide blogger search.
The most interesting person I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with has to be Jeanne Beker. I Tweeted at her for some journalistic advice, she tweeted me back and we e-mailed each other back and forth, while she was at the Much Music Video Awards.
In my spare time, I run a blog with other like-minded people about fashion and sex. I am constantly working on my French and Spanish languages, as I hope to be fluent in both within a couple of years. I spend a lot of time planning trips and reading cheesy novels.
