I am a photographer because I can’t put the camera down.
I started shooting pictures back in high school. Luckily, we had a photography class and I loved seeing the photos come to life in the dark room. A few years later, I was part of a university student paper for a while, and here I am now.
Who is the coolest person I have ever photographed? That’s a tough question because you would think it would be some high-profile person, but for me it was Ken Swift – old-school b-boy from NYC. I was just hanging out with him at an event and took some snaps, but it was one of those times when you want to stop taking photos and just hang out with the person. Which is exactly what I did. Another cool cat was Seth Green from Robot Chicken.
I’ve also photographed the former Governor General Michaëlle Jean. She was amazing.
My favourite hobbies are b-boying, watching films and talking to my dog in both Korean and English.
