Editor’s picks: Toronto Fashion Week, fall/winter 2016

March 15, 2016

Another season of Toronto Fashion Week is here. As the shows kicked off last night, we will bring to you the top looks from our favourite collections, shot directly from the front row.

You may recall my reference last year about the advantage of shooting from the front row, as it adds a nice 3D element to viewing the clothing, and especially the flow of some fabrics.

We will update this gallery as the week goes on, with not just images but trends seen on the runways.

Trends spotted for fall/winter 2016

  1. Floor-hugging dresses
  2. Sequins
  3. Plunging V-necks
  4. Slits
  5. Embroidery
