A sea of shoes…I walked into the Nordstrom Warehouse Sale by Style Democracy, and found myself in a sea of shoes.

I knew right there and then that I would not be departing without a pair of my liking. Today’s photo assignment? A very private shopping experience with Style Democracy and their team! I was able to pre-shop everything yesterday, until the sale officially launched this morning.

Can we talk for a moment about the classic Balenciaga Paris dress that complemented my purse? Or my delight when I found Roberto Cavalli, Ted Baker, Betsey Johnson and Erdem all in one spot? What about finding my weakness in the Pink Tartan faux fur vest that I would claim as mine? The bag I was given when I entered was overflowing for a very spacious, open-concept dressing room visit, complete with twirling and all.

So back to those shoes, the Tory Burch flip flops in anticipation of spring, Michael Kors or the Steve Madden’s sassy fringe that had fun written all over them.

Two hours in and a few of my favourite, versatile finds later, I strolled past the line-up of 500 or so shoppers who were ready to embark on this stylish shopping experience.

Back to my car provided by Acura Canada to transport me from the Nordstrom event to fashion week, all week. Thank you for the sleek ride around town, in your Acura TLX!
