One week, over 100 designers and many trends later, we’ve chosen our favourite shows from Vancouver Fashion Week to share with you.
Evan Clayton

Instead of leather, mesh and edgy cut outs, Evan Clayton’s designs evolved into a soft and whimsical collection this season.
After each model walked the runway, they all joined together and posed to create a picturesque final presentation.
Bow tie necklines, dramatic ruffles, raw-edge denim and flowing silhouettes were recurrent in the collection. Demure satin dresses, white floor-length dresses and the soft colour palette added to its romantic aesthetic.
Danya Weevers

Dutch designer Danya Weevers opened her show with a series of blush tones that transitioned into wine and then into black.
Her collection included a mix of dresses and monochromatic separates. Each design was simple, yet sophisticated and very wearable.
Noe Bernacelli

Bernacelli’s collection of eveningwear was all about details. Some dresses were adorned in fringe, intricate beading, and lace or mesh panelling.
Neon green was an unexpected pop of colour among ivory, champagne, wine and black.
Structured tweed separates were strong points of this presentation.

Fitted, colour-blocked dresses and skirts with pops of neon green stood out amongst ivory and beige tones that made up the rest of the collection.
A geometric influence could also be seen in this minimal daywear line.
