Last week, Tommy Hilfiger revealed the cover for his upcoming memoir, American Dreamer.
The book—which will be published on Nov. 1, 2016—features personal stories from designer’s early childhood and formative years. It highlights his successes, setbacks and dedication that helped him build a multi-billion-dollar brand.
The cover was shot by renowned photographer Richard Phibbs at the brand’s Fifth Avenue flagship store in New York City.
“American Dreamer is a reflection on my experiences in the fashion industry from the last 30-plus years,” said Hilfiger.
“It has been incredible to look back on the moments that have defined both my career and my personal life. It’s an inspiring reminder of all the milestones we’ve surpassed, from our very first billboard in Times Square to bridging the gap between fashion and music.”
The book has been written by Hilfiger in collaboration with American writer Peter Knobler.
