Rudsak is celebrating 20 years with their latest prêt-a-porter, fall/winter 2014-15 collection, as well as a capsule line. Both were created with the luxuriousness of the rock ‘n’ roll era in mind.
The fall/winter collection focuses on a variety of pieces for both men and women, ranging from outwear and clothing, to footwear and accessories. Rudsak’s jackets, coats and parkas are fitted and structured. Other highlights include laced-up footwear, printed bags and skirts with shorter hemlines.
This line stands out due to its use of altered leather. Many pieces flaunt imprinted paisleys, snake and cingulata patterns. Some of the coats have woven wool in plaid and solid colours. Raccoon and rabbit hair are used as trimmings on coats, parkas and multiple accessories. Rudsak also employs goat hair on some pieces for the very first time.
The capsule collection uses the same materials, but has a little something special added to it: leather with a bronze sheen, which gives it a more celebratory and opulent look.
The colour palette for both collections includes black, bordeaux, green, navy and bronze detailing.
The brand is also celebrating its anniversary by teaming up with Rock Paper Photo to display images that strengthen the company’s rock ‘n’ roll pride.
