As we approach the end of 2014, our team has been working on several style stories that focus on trends for the next season.
Here are two of our selected brands from Italy!
F2A
Italian designer Federica Gatti recently launched her spring/summer 2015 collection.
Gatti’s vibrant handbag line has each piece crafted from genuine Italian leather. A stylistic feature here is that the handles are made from chromed steel brass.
The collection dominates with primary tones of blue, yellow and red, as well as hints of white, magenta and orange. The bright colours complement the three-dimensional design elements. Metal elements (a hallmark of the brand) are found on stitching, zips and retractable straps.
Project 149
Designers Monica Mignone and Elisa Vigilante focus on childlike freshness and pure femininity, introducing a lively and vigorous collection.
The palette ranges from shades of lilac, pink, green and blue, to ivory, orange and crimson. Large prints of anthurium are seen on various pieces, while others feature light floral embroideries. In terms of fabric and textures, the collection focuses on transparent silk tundra, jacquard and rigid mesh used as a finish.
This line plays with skirts and maxi dresses, creating feminine silhouettes and emphasizing softer shapes.
