Once again, FAJO Magazine‘s Dmitri Moisseev flew to Pörtschach, Austria, this month to cover The World Bodypainting Festival.

WBF is a marriage of fashion and art, and the festival is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year.

Artists from more than 40 nations compete at this event that attracts over 30,000 visitors.

In our special photo essay, FAJO covers two of the highlights from WBF – the renowned Body Art Fashion show, and the Villach Show held in Villach prior to the festival.

The former event attracted many designers and artists, including Karala B (head organizer), Einat Dan, Miss Coco, Karen Yiu, Raphaelle & Gary Fieldhouse, Jinny, Filippo Ioco, Madelyn Greco, Elena Tagliapietra, Victoria Gugenheim, Yolanda Bartram and Wolf Reicherter.
