Launched in March 2012, Trenta7 is an Italian footwear brand that produces both women’s and men’s shoes. The company’s focus is on masculine elements, which are infused in both collections. Trenta7 is well known for its briefcase clasp that can appear in an array of colours and materials, such as brushed nickel, brass and PVC. It is also recognized for using only the finest Italian leather, so that the brand’s “Made in Italy” standard is always met.

Designer Eleonora Moccia pictured a vibrant London in the early ’50s, when she drew inspiration for her fall/winter 2014-15 collection, which strongly emphasizes “modernity and tradition.” It reminisces on the rich and vivacious traits of London and pulls influences from the luxurious and classy lifestyle a typical Londoner would have had in the early ’50s. This is done by applying “clean lines and chromatic breaks,” but also enhancing more contemporary traits through colour and trimmings.

Both the women’s and men’s collections boast two-tone and single-colour loafers with the signature briefcase clasp in either galvanized nickel, brushed brass or gunmetal.

The women’s colour palette includes must, pearl, pink, rust, electric blue, lime, black and white. The materials range from tartan-waxed leather and printed crackled calf leather, to soft handmade suede, which introduces structure to the collection. The women’s line also highlights lively femininity with ankle pumps that have shiny metallic leather effects on the heels to accentuate the more modern feel of the collection.

The men’s collection uses the same materials as the women’s. However, the colour palette is slightly different and includes must, rust, black, hunter green and white. This line aims to be comfortable and aesthetically pleasing with fashionable overtones.
