RALPHYPABLO, fall/winter 2016

February 9, 2016

Last week, RALPHYPABLO debuted during New York Fashion Week’s Men edition.

The event was held in an intimate setting in the city’s SoHo neighborhood.

The focus of the new brand was on classic Italian wool pea coats that were showcased in olive, navy and camel. These were skillfully paired with wool, slim-fit, cropped trousers.

For this season, designer Rafael Aguirre wanted to create a collection that kept a minimal approach to unique cuts and silhouettes. Square neck T-shirts and Japanese cotton, long sleeve, white button-down shirts were strongly present. Another highlight was a vibrant, knit sweater with a slit shoulder.

Key fabrics included tweed, wool, leather, shearling and neoprene, contrasted against metal hardware and nylon.
