An evening with Gordon Ramsay and HexClad at Linny’s

March 18, 2026

What do you get when the world’s top chef visits Toronto? An exclusive dinner with Gordon Ramsay and HexClad, of course!

Last week, our team was invited to a VIP event with Ramsay, held at Linny’s in Toronto. The venue was a fitting choice. Linny’s has quickly become one of the city’s most talked-about dining rooms, blending the spirit of a classic steakhouse with refined contemporary touches. Known for its warm atmosphere, impeccable service and menu built around expertly sourced ingredients, the restaurant delivers the kind of dining experience that feels both elevated and deeply comforting. And the dinner delivered is exactly what one would expect when Ramsay’s influence is in the room. Dishes were bold yet precise, showcasing technique without overshadowing the ingredients themselves.

The restaurant was buzzing with energy all evening. The excitement around Ramsay’s attendance lasted through the night and is still being talked about widely this week! Ramsay is not simply an ambassador for HexClad: he is an investor and long-term partner who has spoken publicly about using the cookware in his own home kitchens. He has praised the hybrid construction for delivering the sear of stainless steel with the convenience of nonstick cooking and easy cleanup. For a chef whose reputation is built on precision and uncompromising standards, that endorsement carries real weight.

Few chefs have shaped modern culinary culture the way he has. His flagship Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea has held three Michelin stars continuously since 2001, one of the longest running three-star distinctions in the United Kingdom. Across his restaurant group he currently holds multiple Michelin stars and operates acclaimed restaurants around the world. One of the most recent highlights is Restaurant Gordon Ramsay High, located at 22 Bishopsgate in London, which earned its first Michelin star in the 2026 guide.

Despite that extraordinary résumé, what struck guests most during the evening was Ramsay’s presence. He was charismatic, engaging and refreshingly genuine. Rather than feeling like a distant culinary icon, he felt like a chef who still deeply loves the craft. Conversations ranged from kitchen techniques to the importance of quality equipment, and he spoke openly about why he believes cookware like HexClad can make a meaningful difference in how people cook.

That is why HexClad fits naturally into the conversation. It is a design that bridges the gap between professional performance and everyday usability. In luxury kitchens, performance matters just as much as presentation. HexClad Canada‘s signature hybrid cookware is engineered to combine the performance of stainless steel, nonstick and cast iron in one pan. The cookware is also designed to be metal-utensil safe, dishwasher safe, oven safe to very high temperatures, and backed by a lifetime warranty. Those features are part of the reason the brand has gained global traction among professional chefs and serious home cooks alike.

The night ended with a thoughtful and memorable touch. Guests left with HexClad Damascus steel knives, beautifully crafted pieces inspired by Japanese knife making traditions. A number of them were even personally autographed by Ramsay, transforming an already special gift into a keepsake.

In many ways, the evening was about more than cookware or celebrity chefs. It was about the shared joy of cooking and the tools that help make those moments possible. Whether in a Michelin starred kitchen or a home kitchen in Toronto, great food begins with passion, precision and the right equipment. And if that equipment happens to be trusted by Gordon Ramsay himself, that is a pretty compelling place to start.
