What do Tom Ford, Burberry, Guerlain, YSL, Clé de Peau Beauté and Dolce & Gabbana have in common? They were all part of the annual Shoppers Drug Mart‘s Beauty+ event last night.
On Toronto’s calendar, this is one of the most exciting and fabulous beauty parties of the year, bringing together top brands and select Toronto editors, influencers and content creators. Yesterday was no exception, as they gathered at the stunning Design Exchange for this invitation-only party. What made it extra special this year was the luxury focus of participating brands.
Cocktails flowed, photoshoots were at every corner and activations took over several floors of the DX. Each brand set up their own booth to showcase their latest releases that ranged from perfumes to mascaras, award-winning moisturizers and bronzers favoured in Hollywood. Gifts were handed out at every station, and included products from each brand but also unique swag, like Burberry lollipops, Klorane fresh flower bouquets and Benefit inflatable purses. Models who were part of the campaign were also in attendance, including influencer Myles Sexton.
Some brands also offered surprises, such as Shiseido’s unveiling of a new product that launches on March 1 (shhh, we can’t tell you what it is yet, but we promise it will be groundbreaking!).
