I don’t ever remember fashion not being a part of my life. I grew up in a style-conscious household where my Mom made all my clothes as a kid; I guess I had a couture childhood. That made me a fashion brat from a very young age, so there was no turning back.
After moving to Toronto from Montréal in 2002, I decided to go back to school and in 2007 I graduated from the Fashion Coordination & Styling certificate program at Ryerson University. It was the beginning of many great experiences and collaborations, but it was my internship in Italy in 2009 that changed my life. I had the incredible opportunity to be the creative director of a fashion show. Seeing my work come to life literally brought me to tears. My former colleagues still make fun of me, but I stand by my passionate reaction!
My dream collaborations would be styling a collection with Frida Giannini (Gucci) and producing a fashion show with Karl Lagerfeld. Though fashion
is my life, I do love traveling the world, I love food (I am Italian, I can’t help it), and I am also an animal and music lover (die hard Tiësto fan), plus I recently discovered I am an exceptional beach bum!
My mantra? I follow the immortal words of Confucius: choose a job you love and you will never work a day in your life!
