First snow fell overnight in Toronto, and we woke up to a partial winter wonderland today. This, of course, means that the holiday season is upon us.
Most organizations participate in charity initiatives of their choice during this time of the year. One that caught our attention is organized by Toronto-based public relations agency: NKPR.
For the second year in a row, NKPR is participating in 26 Hours of Kindness. Acting in lieu of holiday gifts, between midnight on November 25 through to 2 a.m. on November 26, their team will work collaboratively with their partners to give back to the community through acts of kindness and philanthropy.
All NKPR employees will be involved, donating their time and services, and they invite others to join in! There are many ways to get involved, be it through joining them for a charity spin ride, helping them surprise and delight commuters, or taking part in a glow-stick-led finale through the downtown core (just to name a few!).
The initiative runs non-stop, for 26 hours.
Here is a link to the NKPR blog, which outlines their full itinerary.
If you can’t make it, there are other ways to support through donations or through spreading the word about the initiative, or driving awareness using the #NKPR26 hashtag on social.
Happy Holidays and Happy Season of Giving!
