Luca Sciascia, spring/summer 2016 at AltaRomAltaModa

July 22, 2015

Pop quotes, psychedelic touches and a strong sense of humour characterized the spring/summer 2016 collection by Luca Sciascia that was presented as part of the latest Who Is On Next? edition. This contest was held by AltaRomAltaModa fashion week in Rome, in collaboration with Vogue Italia.

Sciascia is a Turin designer, who was inspired by the 50s for this runway show. He has reworked shapes and volumes through asymmetries and overlapping fabrics, placing a strong focus on the silhouettes. Collection’s highlights included oversized-sleeve tops, fitted pants, clean-cut suits and long dresses, featured with cloth and plexiglass applications, and 3D patterns. Functional elements like buttons and zippers served a decorative purpose.

Here are the highlights from this line.
