Known for its high-end sportswear, LACOSTE’s fall/winter 2014/2015 ready-to-wear collections for men and women focuses on the essence of casual chic.

Warm and cool hues are an interesting counterpoint to the building-block neutrals also present in each of the lines. The men’s and women’s leather goods collections fuse luxury and a sporty appeal in an array of timeless accessories.

Women’s ready-to-wear

LACOSTE’s fall/winter ready-to-wear collection is dominated by knitwear, sweater dresses and sportswear, putting an emphasis on casual chic and loose silhouettes. Featuring a mix of prints that range from large and small-scale floral, to stripes and geometric patterns, many pieces can easily be styled for day or night.

The line’s warm colour palette, which includes lemon yellow, tangerine orange and vibrant red, is balanced by neutrals more typical of fall collections.

Women’s leather goods

The leather goods, which include purses of all shapes and sizes, shoulder bags, backpacks and an array of wallets, follow a similar motif to LACOSTE’s ready-to-wear line.

Purses available in warm pops of colour, are contrasted by large over-the-shoulder bags in cool blues—both are accented by subtle, must-have neutral options. The collection is very minimalistic, however, it is brought to life by the assortment of pieces with patterns, unexpected blocks of colour or unique shapes.

Men’s ready-to-wear

For men, LACOSTE offers a mix of plain and printed sweatshirts, heavy knitwear and a selection of button-downs. Slim-fitting denim and the classic polo, in various colours and patterns, are both staples in the collection.

Heavy in neutrals, ranging from metallic and slate grays to almost-navy blacks, the line features bursts of colour seen in plaids, horizontal stripes and a recurring swirling, abstract print. The line’s sportswear introduces modernized 90s references, including vertical racing stripes, puffer jackets and short-length basketball shorts. The sleek outerwear and polished sweater styles standout amongst the basics and graphic T-shirts.

Men’s leather goods

The leather goods for men present two distinct styles—the first, depicted by bold colours and a sporty edge, offers oversized duffle-bags, back packs and shoulder bags that double as briefcases. These styles are available in burgundy, bright red, indigo or an army print. The latter, a range of sleek, all-black luggage and wallets, are recognizable by their minimalistic, timeless appeal. The line also introduces a number of sleek and sporty fanny packs.
