For many seasons, the Korhani home show at the World MasterCard Canada Fashion Week has been one of the favourites of the Toronto fashion industry.

Now, Germany will be able to experience the spectacle during this year’s Berlin Fashion Week, as Kirsten Korhani, the chief designer and creative director, will present her “carpet couture” collection.

The show is dubbed as KORHANI home’s “Dutsch debut” at Berlin Fashion Week.

The runway presentation is sure to amaze when carpets are turned into wearable art and the catwalk into live theatre. Known for their colourful and quality floor coverings, Korhani makes its German debut at an opportune time with the opening of their European retail locations scheduled for 2013.

“KORHANI home has always been inspired and influenced by fashion,” says Moji Korhani, owner, KORHANI home. “Berlin Fashion Week is the most important week for fashion here in Germany, and as we plan to expand into this new market, being here provides the opportunity to put our designs in front of the country’s top style, media and industry influencers.”
