Woudenberg’s latest collection Paragon was presented at Nyood Bar in Toronto, on Oct.15.
This line was inspired by the most eclectic and luxurious qualities of the Art Deco movement. Woudenberg said that a paragon is defined as “an immaculate diamond”, and it symbolizes the frivolity that followed World War I.
“I wanted to capture the essence of the contrast between extreme frivolity and sombre frugality that was seen in the 1930s. The feeling is strangely current,” she added.
The collection features many oversized pendants that are real statement pieces, with geometric shapes and neutral colours.
