VIP opening gala of Andy Warhol: Revisited

July 2, 2015

On June 30, VIP guests and media gathered in the bustling heart of Toronto’s Bloor Street to preview the new Andy Warhol: Revisited exhibition.

A museum-style show, the exhibit features over 100 works by the renowned artist from the Revolver Gallery. Think Campbell’s Soup Cans; celebrity images including actors, designers and socialites; and many colourful, interactive (and sometimes moving!) pieces.

The gala featured a special DJ set by Louie Vega, delicious cocktails and canapes, as well as an oyster bar. Bartenders were dressed as Marilyn Monroe, and every guest received either a poster of the event or a T-shirt with a portrait print of Warhol at the end of the evening.

Here are some photo snaps from that evening!
