Spanish fashion label Ana Locking has launched a range of 1920s inspired platform loafers, as part of the fall/winter 2012 collection.

The shoes are designed to be a feminine reinterpretation of the classic men’s moccasin. As such, they combine traditional details, such as tassels and laces, with contemporary materials, like colt leather and lizard skin.

The shoes come in three variations, each with a different placement of the tassels and additional details like laces, flaps and open sides. Many of the styles feature pops of bold colour, gold or a playful mix of textures.

The collection is imagined as a time capsule that was sealed in February 1922 and opened 90 years later. This concept is meant to show how certain elements in fashion have remained stylish and classic over the decades.
