When the Toronto International Film Festival 2012 arrived in early September, many films were screened for the first time in Canada and reviewed by thousands of critics.

Sitting at a press conference was a true international experience of its own, with reporters and videographers from all over the globe in one room. Photo calls preceded every conference, when film stars lined up against a TIFF backdrop to pose. It was no wonder why some of them opted to wear sunglasses – when photo flashes went off, it almost felt like lightning indoors!

After chatting with press, many actors headed straight to the Red Carpets and this is where things got very exciting for all fashionistas in the city.

Our photo galleries from TIFF 2012 showcase some of the best outfit choices this year, including our favourites.
