The Clothing Show, Canada’s largest vintage and new independent designer event, was back last weekend at the Queen Elizabeth Building (Exhibition Place) in Toronto.
For over three decades, the show has been presenting an ecletic mix of Canadian apparel and accessories. Hundreds of designers showcased their work in booths this weekend, as well as at the multiple runway shows that were simultaneously being held at the venue.
A particular highlight of the Clothing Show was the Century of Fashion display. Collectors brought out their best museum quality pieces to produce the most historically accurate depiction of each decade in the 20th century.
Organizers said that the Clothing Show has been a draw for local Toronto shoppers for generations. It also boasts some of the best deals in the city, with dozens of special sales.
Exhibitors last weekend included Lipgloss & Black, George Briggs Custom Apparel, Andy Hall, Copious Couture, Kaych and Yoga Gurl.

My clothing line, Kaych was listed among the designer highlights along with this excellent photo of me (right) with Carissa McCaig (left) of Copious Couture in our booth.
