For the fourth year in a row, FAJO’s team attended the opening gala of the Interior Design Show held in Toronto this weekend.
Once again, IDS attracted some of the top interior design and home/office furnishing brands from around the world — including Miele, Missoni Home, Scavolini and Lladro. Also participating in the show were local designers whose work ranged from highly minimalistic white-and-black combinations, to 60s-infused multi-colour room set-ups.
In various pockets of the venue, dozens of Toronto’s restaurants — such as Cluny and El Catrin — had set up mini-booths and treated guests to delectable hors d’oeuvres throughout the night. Meanwhile, musicians, pianists and DJs provided the musical entertainment all evening.
And there were fun pieces too. A set-up that attracted a lot of attention on social media was the swings installation by Caesarstone, where attendees were actually able to test them out (and they did so all night!).
Colourful and innovative, IDS attracted some of the best dressed people from across the city. Here are some FAJO’s snaps of our favourite outfits and exhibits at the show.
