Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards honour top talent

Last Saturday, some of the most renowned Canadian fashion personalities gathered at the Fairmont Royal York hotel in downtown Toronto for the inaugural Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards.

CAFA was created to honour and celebrate outstanding achievement within the Canadian fashion industry. The awards show was presented over dinner and hosted by Canadian comedian, Gerry Dee.

The CAFA winners this year are:

Outstanding Achievement: Dean & Dan Caten (DSQUARED2)

Womenswear Designer of the Year: Jeremy Laing

Menswear Designer of The Year: Travis Taddeo

Accessory Designer of The Year: Dexter & Byron Peart (WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie)

Canadian Style Award: Joe Mimran

Image Maker of the Year: Chris Nicholls

International Designer of the Year: Dean & Dan Caten (DSQUARED2)

Stylist of the Year: George Antonopolous

Model of the Year: Coco Rocha

Emerging Talent Award: Sarah Stevenson

FAJO attended the event as well and, as always, captured some of the Best Dressed on the Red Carpet!
