Letter from the Editor

Art is for the soul.

I’m sure most of you would agree. In the midst of 21st century changes, art motivates, invigorates and inspires us. It brings people from around the world together and helps them communicate despite cultural, language or belief differences. On this note, we decided to present The Entertainment Issue.

This month, we feature Armin van Buuren and Markus Schulz — two of the world’s top DJs; the graceful and talented Greta Hodgkinson — one of The National Ballet of Canada’s principal dancers; and Arisa Cox — a well-known Canadian presenter, entertainment journalist and television personality.

We also cover some of the most creative and exciting fashion and art events in North America — from Ottawa to New York City.
