FAJO celebrated its two-year anniversary this month!

Nov. 1 is always a special day for our team. It makes us reflect on how far the publication has come in a very short period of time.

Truth be told, we couldn’t have done it without our dedicated readers – every day we get a note or a letter of support from them, and it is always very encouraging to know that we are doing things that the readers find engaging, fun and innovative. That is our biggest drive and motivation to create unique content that no other media organization will have.

The fashion week season may have officially wrapped up, but we will continue to provide you with our in-depth coverage until December. You can expect tons of photos, articles, commentary and news features that will help you prepare for spring. I know it’s hard to picture spring as we are closely approaching winter, but as you bundle up, the photos of bright outfits and skirts/shorts may help you dream of the sun and eagerly await warmer days. I know I will be doing that myself.

Our cover story this month is about one of Canada’s top designers – Arthur Mendonça. The timing is perfect too, as Arthur is celebrating his own anniversary: 10 years in the fashion industry. His latest collection at the World MasterCard Fashion Week in Toronto was a great showcase of the designer’s attention to immaculate tailoring. You can take a look at some of the highlights from his show, as well as the other top shows this season, here.
