Using her eye for the latest trends in London and abroad, Farahnaz Ahmed has founded and stylishly curated FaradD Boutique, a one-stop shop for high-end accessories.

Farahnaz has always had a passion for fashion. After receiving numerous compliments on her style, she decided to open her own boutique of hand-selected pieces. Since launching online in October, FarahD Boutique has already garnered a loyal clientele of fashionable ladies about town.

“I’ve been sourcing a lot of stock from parts of London and different fashion trends out of New York, Paris and Milan. I handpick everything in the boutique and bring in items that I would wear myself,” says Farahnaz.

Over the years, she has built up a fashion database, allowing her to stock designer pieces at an affordable price point. As a result, FarahD Boutique has quickly distinguished itself in London’s competitive accessories market by carrying jewelry, scarves and embellished clutches under £30.

“Accessories really do finish off an outfit. At the moment, necklaces are really big. Everyone is trying to make a bold fashion statement and we’ve been sourcing many unique pieces,” says Farahnaz.

Among these items is the elegant metallic Queen Sheba Necklace and the edgy Cleopatra Purple Necklace, which Ahmed herself often wears to fashion parties in London.

For this reason, FarahD Boutique appeals to international shoppers seeking pieces reflective of British fashion, including the crystal skull trend currently dominating the street style scene.

“It’s important for me to have the brand in the U.K., but I think it’s great to be able to bring it abroad and showcase the trends that are going on in Europe and Asia,” she says.

As FarahD Boutique continues to establish itself as a leading provider of coveted accessories, Farahnaz plans to open a boutique in Stratford, London in the next year.

“It’s so important to choose the right accessories for the right outfit,” she says. “I’ve always had an eye for putting pieces together. For me, it was a natural thing to do.”
