My love for fashion, though always present, really took off on a trip to New York City when I was 17. I toured many fashion houses and studios, including the studio of the amazing designer Nanette Lepore, and was instantly drawn to the industry. I met some incredible people and had the time of my life.
I’ve always loved what fashion means to different people, and the creation of style and individuality that stems from it. I like observing the ever-changing season trends and the sheer confidence that fashion creates.
My educational background is in English and Creative Writing, so I’ve been writing stories since I could pick up a pencil. A great inspiration to me have always been JD Salinger and Charles Dickens. I currently contribute to a fashion blog, keep a personal blog, work on what I hope to someday be a completed novel and also intern for a Canadian dress designer Cindy Renee Mathieu.
I love keeping busy and setting big goals for myself. The journey of reaching them is half the fun! But at the end of the day, I’m happy just hanging out with my friends, adventuring in the city or cruising around in my car to classic rock. And I get along with anyone who can make me laugh and likes Almost Famous.
