I have always loved photography and, several years ago, it brought me to fashion. When I was younger, I used to make my friends model and we would have little ‘fashion shoots.’ Fashion and photography are now the two ways in which I express myself without using words. I have also started blogging a few years ago for the purpose of showcasing my work as it progresses and to start writing. Writing is a big passion of mine!
Originally from Nova Scotia, I studied photography in Halifax at NSCAD University. After a detour to Montreal where I earned a diploma in graphic design from Concordia University, I made the move to Toronto to get my foot in the fashion world.
Last year, I traveled to Vietnam for a documentary course taught by photojournalist Nance Ackerman. I would say the images I took on this trip were a great achievement for me because they further developed my photographic fashion style and taught me to see fashion in different ways.
I am always writing down ideas for new projects and blogging about them, and when I am not doing that, I am out for a run, exploring the city on my bike, window shopping, reading or checking out new bands.
