Flemington’s latest precinct, The Park, was unveiled last week in Melbourne ahead of the year’s most anticipated horse race.
The launch featured an intimate gathering of media’s elite, giving them the chance to sample the offerings before the carnival commences.
Melbourne’s hottest restaurants, such as Huxtaburger, Messina and Doughnut Time, handed out delicious treats for guests to sample; whilst L’Oreal offered to touch up everyone’s make-up.
The day culminated with the unveiling of the $6.3 million Emirates Melbourne Cup trophy, which will be awarded on Tuesday, November 1.
