Campari’s latest campaign features Clive Owen and luxury fashion

May 23, 2017

Every year, Campari releases a new campaign to promote its products, featuring an A-list Hollywood celebrity. Past campaigns have featured stunning annual wall-calendars with various actresses, such as Eva Green, Uma Thurman, Salma Hayek and Kate Hudson. Past fashion brands that were used for these collaborations included Vivienne Westwood, Versace, Brian Atwood and Christian Louboutin.

This year, the brand decided to do something different. Instead of a calendar, they created a short film with renowned Hollywood actor, Clive Owen. A noir, called Killer in Red, was directed by the Italian internationally renowned award-winner Paolo Sorrentino.

“I was honoured to be chosen to shoot Killer in Red … particularly since this year represents the brand’s first foray into the world of cinematography and film,” said Owen. “Working with Paolo was a real pleasure.”

The film features spectacular clothing by a variety of brands. Owen sticks to his favourite: Georgio Armani. Most of the jewelry was provided by Bulgari. Once again, the key accent colour of clothing is red, in line with Campari’s branding. Most of the clothes are themed around the 1970s. Campari released the film on its YouTube channel earlier this year and has now released the behind-the-scenes photos from the film, which we are sharing with our readers today.
