Bustle Clothing collaborates with Playboy on exclusive collection

October 27, 2020

Renowned Canadian fashion brand Bustle Clothing recently debuted their exclusive collection with Playboy at their retail flagship location in Stackt Market in downtown Toronto. This is Playboy’s first collaboration with a Canadian fashion brand.

To commemorate the occasion, vintage Playboy magazines, framed covers and iconic images from the magazine’s storied past will decorate the retail environment. The activation is an ode to Playboy’s heritage and takes place inside a re-imagined shipping container, now servicing as a storefront.

“Stackt’s shipping container market offers the perfect retail environment for shopping our Playboy X Bustle collection,” says Shawn Hewson, Bustle’s founder and creative director. “With a great assortment of vendors, artists, and food and beverage options, the outdoor shopping environment at Stackt is fun, safe and stylish.”

The collection of luxury sportswear pieces ranges from sleek heritage-inspired track suits to high-end streetwear staples, including satin bombers, branded knits, and classics like letterman jackets and knit blazers. Accessories include toques, caps, weekender bags and socks – all great gifts for Playboy enthusiasts.

“We are thrilled to be working with Bustle Clothing,” says Reena Patel, Chief Operating Officer, Global Licencing & Joint Ventures at Playboy Enterprises, Inc. “The bold collection and the retail environment they’ve created present a great interpretation of Playboy’s values and heritage in a fun and contemporary way.”

The Playboy x Bustle boutique at Stackt (unit 3-116 28 Bathurst St, Toronto) is open Tuesdays to Sundays, from noon to 7 p.m., and will remain open through until the end of December.
