Another Academy Awards ceremony is behind us. What were the key attractions on the Red Carpet this year?

Most actresses opted for something white, something red or something sparkly. The gowns tended to be floor length, with classic cuts and occasional high slits. Here are some of our favourite looks from last Sunday.

Gal Gadot in a Tiffany & Co. necklace with 1,000+ diamonds that took one year to make. Her dress is by Givenchy Haute Couture.

Nicole Kidman stole the show in an Armani Privé gown, paired with Christian Louboutin shoes and Harry Winston jewelry.

Zoey Deutch in Elie Saab Couture.

Paz Vega in an elegant floral Christopher Bu gown.

Betty Gabriel in a Tony Ward Couture teal gown with a sexy plunging neckline.

Meryl Streep in a classic red Christian Dior Couture number. She paired it with Stuart Weitzman shoes, Fred Leighton jewelry and a Christian Louboutin clutch.

Emma Stone opts for an outfit by Louis Vuitton.

Sandra Bullock chose a striking Louis Vuitton gown for the evening.

Lupita Nyong’o opted for a custom Atelier Versace gown, paired with Alexandre Birman shoes, Niwaka jewelry and a Versace clutch.

Jennifer Lawrence in a golden Christian Dior dress.

Jennifer Garner arrived in an Atelier Versace gown and Piaget jewelry.

The incredible Jane Fonda rocking a white pearl-embellished Balmain gown from Olivier Rousteing’s 44 Francois Premier collection.

Allison Williams looked stunning in an Armani Privé Couture dress and Brian Atwood shoes.

Laura Dern was elegantly chic in Calvin Klein By Appointment.
