My Top 3 beauty products this fall

September 27, 2019

I tend to wear very natural makeup, with occasional striking highlights. I also, normally, wear products by the same brands that I supported five or even 10 years ago. This fall, however, I tried a couple of new items, in the context of specifically reviewing them in FAJO. Collectively, the products below will help you create an elegant look for a day at the office or a night out!

Guerlain Lingerie de Peau BB Beauty Booster

I really can’t stress how much I love this foundation. It’s an invisible, skin-fusion, multi-perfecting makeup. This BB cream gives my skin a truly flawless but also very natural complexion, without being cakey or looking too overdone. It also has a lovely scent: the first peach note blended with an accord of vegetal notes is fresh and sparkling. The rose, raspberry and jasmine heart is enriched with a powdery base of balsamic, benzoin and white musk. This product is made in France.

Givenchy Khôl Couture eyeliner

Basically, this is an eyeliner of your dreams. It’s waterproof and retractable, so it’s easy to apply and it stays in place. The summer collection is still available in stores and is a wonderful range of various shades. I love the colours and find that they are quite timeless and would look just as good in winter, as they would in the summer. I’m particularly a fan of turquoise and cobalt shades, and I alternate the two throughout the week. This product is made in Germany.

Tom Ford Soleil Sheer cheek duo

It took me forever to find this blush palette. I literally walked around the entire Sephora store, and checked out almost every brand, before finding this one. Most blush products are currently available in a stick format, or sometimes in a single shade format. It’s really difficult to find a palette that has two or more colours, let alone colours that would blend well together and not look too bright or too dark. I also absolutely love the texture of this product, and the packaging is sleek and elegant too. It’s a beautiful makeup addition that anyone would love, whether you are buying this for yourself or getting it as a gift for someone else. The product is made in Italy.
