For fall/winter 2016 at New York Fashion Week, Victoria Beckham returned to her signature corseted clothing. The 36 looks focused on soft tones of navy, rust and forest green, with several black-and-white combinations.
Wrap skirts, structured silhouettes and occasional cutout peekaboos teased the audience during her morning show on Valentine’s Day. Beckham’s supporters in the front row included her husband David Beckham and all of her four children.
Keeping in theme with the season, Beckham presented a series of coats, some of which had eye-catching accents, such as fringe trimming and oversized buttons. Stripes and geometric patterns were also strongly present in this collection. All clothing was paired with pointy-toed leather shoes and mini-booties, in burgundy or black.
Meanwhile, backstage and on the runway, the make-up looks highlighted each model’s natural glow. Soft pink or nude on the lips complemented light forest green and khaki eyeshadows. There was also an occasional pop of a classic red or burgundy lipstick.
For hair, slicked-back looks were paired with simple pony tails, adding a minimalistic yet feminine touch. All hair was kept long and straight; a few looks also featured a slight curve on the hair tips.
Take a look at some of our key highlights from the make-up and hair elements of this presentation.
