“I have been a make-up aficionado since the age of seven: my mother used to do my make-up and dress me up as a princess to go see Disney plays, planting the make-up junkie seed deep within my young, impressionable seven-year-old mind. In the years that followed, I became that girl who got in trouble at grade school for wearing too
much make-up, and I was a lost cause ever since.

“Make-up is my jam. I am a self-taught make-up artist specializing in beauty; however, I am extremely passionate
and excited about learning more about special effects’
make-up application.

“I graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, and pursued a client services role at a branding and design agency. These collective experiences
have contributed to my creativity and ability to interpret people’s creative visions, and have directed me to the path
I am on today.

“In 2012, I began my career as a professional make-up artist
as the resident make-up artist at FAJO. Joining the FAJO
team has been such a wonderful and fulfilling experience, both
professionally and personally. The team is truly a family to me now and I have had the privilege of working with several Canadian celebrities as a result.

“In 2014, I also began working concurrently at MAC Cosmetics. After completing my MBA in marketing at McMaster University, I recently decided to launch Cru6 Beauty Squad: a full-service beauty agency representing real, grounded and quirky hairstylists and make-up artists in the beauty industry. I am extremely passionate about marketing and the beauty industry, and decided to create my own career, by marrying my two passions.”
